It’s Vanessa’s 18th birthday and she is searching for purpose in loss, an outlet for her joy, and the embrace of community- and along the way she discovers the power of remembrance. In this new one-woman show, Ase, Ase, Ase, explores the history of slavery in NJ and the importance of finding hope in tragedy.
