Post-baccalaureate Fiffe continued to develop his writing and performance work with his mentor and ‘NEA 4’ artist, Tim Miller. In 2007, Fiffe was conferred a master of fine arts degree in visual arts from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts. Currently, he continues his artistic practice and is further developing his latest body of work, The Worst Thing (That I Could Do), a performance that uses a recounting of the biblical narrative of the Garden of Eden in conjunction with religious liturgy and induced enchantment to posit deeper meaning into how ‘love’ can manifest itself. Relatively, it has inspired writing his first full-length novel, The Dreadful Weight of Hope, a reinterpretation of James Baldwin’s Giovanni’s Room.Hyperlinks: Email; Website; FacebookEvents: Producer, Breakthrough Arts Fest; Producer, Resonate No. 2; Resident Curator, Gall3ry No. 1: “The Scavenger Hunter’s Cookbook (A Guide to Living Well and Getting On in New Jersey)”
