Jamie Bruno
As a painter I am interested in the ways in which realism and abstraction intertwine through the subject of something body felt. With this in mind my subjects as a painter thus far have been about vulnerability, repulsion, and voyeurism; about the act of looking and being looked at. I am trying to walk the line between typical dualities both formally and within my subject matter.
