“Samuraization” is a hilarious one-woman show about having your cake and eating it, too – with Samurai values as icing on the cake. The show explores how to live life to its fullest – and it’s a show for all who are mortal.
Pandora Scooter is an awesome, hilarious “spoken word rock star” who has performed at universities up and down the East Coast — Boston, NYU, George Washington Universities among many others. Her passionate rhymes and rants thrill and inspire audiences. She’s been put into categories including everything from stand-up comedy to hip-hop to folk poet to performance artist. Her work defies conventional labels, just as she does herself. A self-identified QUEERMAMASAPIEN, Pandora is pro-people, in all their glorious individualizations. She is an unyielding advocate on behalf of misfits and ‘fits,’ of all walks and talks.
On the specific-tip, Pandora has performed at venues including: NJPAC’s Alternate Routes Hip Hop Festival 2 and 3, HIP HOP: Out, Loud and Proud, PhaseFest, Philly Queer Rock Show, Baltimore Pride, Mississipi’s OUToberfest, Capitol Rainbowfest (Trenton, NJ’s Pride Celebration), Cornelia Street Cafe’s Pink Pony Series (NYC), Nuyorican Youth Slam (NYC), as well as featuring at numerous open-mics throughout New Jersey and Philadelphia.
