Milestones: Dumping
Performed by Pandora Scooter

(Shown in conjunction with Sentient)

Calling all dumpers and dumpees! At some point in our lives, we all get dumped or dump someone. Dumping explores the need for a ritual around this milestone and all the complexities that go along with processing the dumper/dumpee experience. Bring your relationship baggage to this show (really! A picture, love note, whatever you want)! You may find you can leave it in the theater after all is said and done!

Milestones: Dumping is being presented as part of Breakthrough Arts Fest in repertory with Avianna Perez’s Sentient.

Pandora Scooter is a spoken word/performance artist based in central New Jersey. Last summer she was featured in Curve Magazine’s Out In Front series. Her solo shows have received critical and box office acclaim – often for being daring and hilarious. She performs throughout the East Coast, centralized in the NJ/NYC/Philly areas. Pandora’s solo show Samuraization won her a grant from the Puffin Foundation to support its development. She is currently working on two shows in NYC with Urbintel Productions: HerStory and Word OUT. She is the curator and host of HIP HOP: Out, Loud & Proud, an annual show at New Jersey Performing Arts Center, which features gay, straight, bi and trans hip hop artists of all backgrounds. Pandora also is founder and co-host of the monthly open-mic series Out of the Box which has been running since November 2002. More info and a current calendar is available at www.pandorascooter.com.
