The second installment of ongoing education program, Extend is a series of workshops designed to expand on the technical skills and craft of artists in the areas of dance, performance, theater and visual arts.
Extend No. 2′s focus is a laughter workshop with laugh therapist, Ira Brandwein.
Ira Brandwein is a veteran math teacher at Passaic High School. A long time interest in yoga, led him to the Worldwide Laughter Tour. With roots in yoga, their belief is that laughing is healthy for the mind, body and spirit. Ira became a certified Laugh Therapist in 2003. Since that time, he has taught laughter meditation to yoga classes and at Gilda’s Club. In addition to his laughing, Ira is also a trained clown and ventriloquist.
