dancePARTY: On Friday, September 4, Saturday, October 31, Thursday, January 28 and Saturday, May 8 at locations to be determined. The best dance party in town returns! Mark your calendars now for the sickest New Brunswick nights of the year.

THEATER

I Heart Kant: Running from Thursday, December 3 to Sunday, December 13 in the black box at George Street Playhouse (9 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ 08901). Written by Ken Urban and directed by Dan Swern, this is the New Jersey premiere of a play about four women trying to find happiness in suburban hell.

Puppet Slam: On Saturday, January 9 at 8pm at George Street Playhouse (9 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ 08901). An evening of short, varied theatrical mini-plays for adults that use (and sometimes abuse) puppets for part or all of the drama. This is New Brunswick’s only home for some of the most innovative puppetry work in the region.

The Orphanage: Held one Sunday every month (7:30pm), this is the only new play-reading series in downtown New Brunswick, providing a home for local theater artists as well as a safe environment for playwrights to develop their work.
