This contemporary bilingual production of Romeo and Juliet, brings the classic tale to present day New Brunswick.  Cast with professional actors from New York City and community members from New Brunswick, the Montagues (Romeo&#8217;s family) are played by Afro-Caribbean actors and the Capulets (Juliet&#8217;s family) are played by Latino actors. The beautiful and tragic love story is set against the sometimes positive, sometimes challenging changes facing our home town.  This is a Romeo and Juliet like you&#8217;ve never seen.<br />
All performances are <strong>FREE!!!</strong></p>
<p>Collaborative Arts is the only guaranteed place to catch the hottest emerging artists in Central New Jersey. Breakthrough Arts Fest, for its third year, is the only summer ticket in New Brunswick, with something happening almost every night through August. <p>coLAB’s core includes some of the most talented and exciting artists in New Jersey. The Membership Showcase is an opportunity to see their work realized in stripped down productions. Featured work includes theater, film, music, and dance. Friday, July 17 feature coLAB members Dan Swern and Jack Leary. Sunday, July 26th features members Jessica Lipman and Avianna Perez.</p>

spaces, forgotten spaces. Dancers of Insurgo Stage Project, a New<br />
Brunswick-based experimental dance and theatre troupe, use multiple<br />
forms of expression to take up, and take back, New Brunswick spaces.</span></p>

<p style="margin-left: 120px; margin-right: 0pt; color: #000000;">Jessica Lipman is a Studio Mentor in the Rutgers English Department&#8217;s<br />

of coLAB Film Festival.  Currently, she is the resident videographer<br />
of Insurgo Stage Project.  She made this film in collaboration with<br />
Insurgo Stage Project&#8217;s director, Avianna Perez, as well as the<br />
dancers of Insurgo Stage Project.</p>
