Breakthrough Arts Fest: A Festival of Music, Theater, Film, and Dance in New Brunswick, NJ. The festival runs July 11 – August 1, Friday – Sunday at George Street Playhouse (9 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick). Ticket prices range from FREE to $10.
Following its commitment to fostering emerging New Brunswick artists and the development of the New Brunswick art scene, coLAB presents four weekends of new work including concerts, play readings, puppetry, film, and theater.
Saturday, July 11, 7pm – coLAB Music Fest featuring FUSE, Like Trains & Taxis, Silent Knight, Terminal Reynaldo, Glad Hearts, and Zach Lost.
Friday, July 17, 8pm – Member Showcase: a staged reading of Dan Swern’s Castle on a Hill and the premiere of Jack Leary’s music/performance happening, Make It.
Friday, July 18, 3pm – The Orphanage: a staged reading of Lia Romeo’s SUPER
Saturday, July 18, 8pm – Samuraization, written and performed by Pandora Scooter
